Crane Truck Driver

Job Summary:

Reporting to the shipping manager, the driver is responsible for transporting, delivering and unloading merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Make deliveries and provide excellent customer service;
• Drive trucks transporting goods and materials to various destinations;
• Compliance with the measures and instructions put in place on construction sites;
• Monitor all aspects of vehicles, such as equipment status, loading and unloading operations, and cargo safety and security;
• Inspect truck systems and equipment before departure Note information on cargoes, distances travelled, gasoline consumption and other information in the logbook;
• Communicate with the dispatcher and other drivers;
• Transport, if necessary, dangerous substances or goods.
• All other related tasks.

Training required:

• Class 1 or 3 driving license (compulsory);
• Health and safety training on construction sites (mandatory);
• Transportation of hazardous materials training (an asset);
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
