Organizational Development Facilitator

Function Summary :

The Organizational Development Facilitator plays a crucial role in leading organizational transformation projects. They will work closely with the Project Manager. This involves anticipating and managing potential challenges associated with organizational changes by taking a proactive approach. It is crucial to apply an integrated change management methodology tailored to the needs of each group within the organization. This involves adopting an approach that integrates different dimensions such as communication, training, and support for individuals and teams. It is therefore important to personalize change management strategies based on the needs, expectations, and specific characteristics of each group, whether they are senior executives, middle managers, or staff members. This ensures mutual understanding, resolves potential conflicts, and maintains strategic alignment. Transparent communication and coordination between project teams and managers are also crucial to ensure the successful implementation of changes.

The responsibilities of an Organizational Development Facilitator are :

  • Effectively communicate the need for change and its benefits to the project team ;
  • Address ideas and feedback from the Change Advisory Board and other team members, and integrate them into the change process ;
  • Lead the change process by developing clear and appropriate steps for the different stages of specific change ;
  • Train team members performing change tasks to equip them with the necessary skills and encourage effectiveness ;
  • Guide and support team members throughout the change lifecycle ;
  • Take ownership of the change to ensure its implementation, with the intended outcome ;
  • Evaluate and identify potential contentious points within the team regarding the change, and proactively develop strategies to mitigate disruptions.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, human resources, or related field experience ;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a facilitator ;
  • Class 5 driver's license ;
  • Possess managerial courage (Adaptability) ;
  • Enthusiastic and focused on the success of change ;
  • Good time and priority management ;
  • Leadership ability ;
  • Open-mindedness ;
  • Communication skills ;
  • Bilingual: Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written (Mandatory).
